Speedyman Records celebrates 50th release with MASSIVE album

Since its inception a couple of years back, Dan Speed's label has been a consistent prescence throughout NUKG - becoming home to numerous tracks by Dan himself, along with efforts from the likes of DJ Pencil, Platinum Mars, DJ LIX, Beat Demon Beatz, Kings With Hearts, Brockington, Reecey Dixon & Kriss Moore, Ascend and more.

However its 50th(!) release sees the label dropping a diverse 13 track album compiling music from some of its roster - along with new-yet-familiar arrivals like Baker, Starkey P, Shiftz & DJ M1cko.

Although there's a variety of styles on offer from NUKG's wide umbrella, there appears to be an emphasis on solid basslines - and the quality is consistent throughout. From our subjective viewpoint, standout tracks include: NUKG 24/7 favourite Baker's 'Soundboi Bully' (a high-octane, warping Speed Garage fest); Brockington's bouncy & ridiculously catchy stepper 'Keep Rocking'; and Ascend's bass-heavy skippy 4x4 roller 'Shake N Vac' - which nestles itself firmly somewhere between Garage House and Speedy G.

Speedyman Records presents 'An Evening With' on Juno Download 28th June for a 2-week exclusive run; after which it'll be widely available everywhere. Be sure to give it a listen - you won't regret it!

An Evening With

We also just picked up on the fact that Speedyman appears to have launched a merchandise line. So if you're enjoying the tunes & looking to rep further, be sure to pay their Teemill store a visit.
