MC Cobra & Phonetix received a rave review from the BBC's Daniel Pascoe last night, after he debuted 'Pre-Social' - the first single taken from Cobra's forthcoming album 'Return To The Underground'.
Speaking at the end of the track, Mr Pascoe commented on what a pleasure it was to be able to showcase new underground music of its ilk on the BBC; & added that it was a throwback track which captured the essence of Speed Garage's late-90s heyday perfectly.
Lyrically, the track refers to simpler times before the social media craze swept the planet like a viral pandemic. It's high-octane & geared for the dancefloor, but as a song it's also poignant & nostalgic enough to warrant a listen on your sofa.
The single drops on 1st March, & you can pre-save / order it here.
