As far as vocalists in NUKG are concerned, few names carry the clout of Hull's Sarah Etheridge. We ran a feature some weeks back on her recent Strictly Flava release with Adam Kronik, and are pleased to drop a quick update now.
Having spent many years collaborating with some of the scene's finest producers (including TS7, Echelon & Matt Jam Lamont, BWK Project and Adam Kronik), she's proven time-and-again to be a great topline writer.
She can also carry a tune well in a live setting, which she's shown to be the case - recently at Sheffield's Bassline Take Over event and, this past week, on BBC Introducing. It's not the first time she's passed through the BBC studios, nonetheless any time an artist of Sarah's talent & dedication gets a nod we feel it's worth a) listening to; and b) shouting about!
Speaking with host Jericho Keys, she discussed the collaborative process - as well as her multi-genre approach this year: before performing 'Healing' & 'Good Loving' (produced by NUKG 24/7 favourites Frankly & Dee Panch).
Miss it? Not to worry - you can scope out the playback c/o BBC Sounds here.
