Genre-blending with Belfast's NK

We've been keen to praise Belfast's NK on multiple occasions recently, as he's dropped a slew of slickly-produced experimental, bass-heavy vibes on a variety of labels falling under this very banner. His most recent outing on none other than NUKG 24/7 itself, is a real fusion of styles.

Speaking about the track, NK said "the main inspiration for it came from listening to a lot of Hardstyle and Hard House when I was younger - so I thought I'd try to blend the styles with UKG".

Whenever artists try something new it can be divisive and 'Get Down' is no exception to that. "You can't please everyone" says the Belfast native. And he's absolutely right! But he pleased us, along with a number of people into harder, edgier sounds.

Not your cuppa? Well, that's ok too - but definitely be sure to check NK's catalogue nonetheless, as he's dropping some belters right now.
